One of my dreams last night formed a jealous anger in me which is pretty rare. And I think (I'm not sure if this was reality or part of the dream) as soon as I woke up I angrily punched a pillow and went back to sleep. Strange night.

Today, I was helping my mum move a mirror into the bathroom and we dropped it breaking it in half. And to make matters worse, I'm a superstitious person. Luckily, our neighborhood somehow had a spare 2 x 4 meter mirror. Luckily, heh.

A friend of mine is trying to manipulate lucid dreams and sent me the wiki article to read and it really is interesting and they refer to it somewhat like a technique or ability. Truly interesting, one of the methods is to try to focus your mind onto one idea in order to dream about it. And I've done that involuntarily, I've woken up and thought to myself, "I hope I come back to that dream." But I don't want to control my dreams all the time either, I like to let them wander even if they make me jealous like last night.

What's unfortunate
is that all I hear about lucid dreaming is how it'd be great for sex dreams and the like.

I've done it before, but I never got the hang of doing again. It's a matter of realizing you're in a dream, but ignoring the fact. If you think about it too hard, you start to wake up.

Controlling dreams is hard stuff. :( I tend to realize I'm dreaming and think I have to do something special to change stuff... like close my eyes and concentrate real hard. Sadly, nothing ever comes of it.

Most of my dreams are lucid, and I have a tendency to remember plenty of details.

One time, I had a dream in which my mother just stopped talking to me because I brought a (fictional) boyfriend home for a holiday of some sort. When I woke up, I knew that it didn't really happen, but I was still upset and a little angry about it, mostly because I don't know how that scenario would play out in real life, and that's mainly what deters me from sharing this part of my life with my family.

Usually, it's those sorts of interactions with other people in my dreams that I find the hardest to control when I'm dreaming them. Sometimes it happens that I can bend their reactions in the directions I want them to go, but it's definitely not the norm.

Hahaha
I know what you mean about when you wake up from a dream, and you hope that you will be able to go back to that dream.

That like, rarely happens to me, unless I think about it a lot RIGHT after I wake up, and try to go back to sleep.

Dreams, making you jealous!? O.o

Pretty much everywhere within a quarter mile radius of my house, I think. :P
